Company History
BT Crellin Machine Company is the result of a merger between Crellin Machine Company, a 100-year old Los Angeles based manufacturer of automatic screw machine products, and BT Screw Products a 40-year old Santa Ana, California based manufacturer of precision CNC and automatic screw machine products. The resulting company, BT Crellin Machine Company, is located in the 20,000 sq. ft. Crellin facility near downtown Los Angeles.
Crellin and BT Crellin Machine Company have continuously occupied the current facility since before 1900, making it the oldest screw machine products company in the western half of the United States. While BT Screw Products customer base was heavily weighted in the aerospace industry, Crellin Machine Company's customer base was primarily commercial. The merger allowed BT Crellin Machine Company to serve a diverse group of customers ranging from commercial, to aerospace, to military. By not having to rely solely upon customers in one segment of the economy, the company has been able to remain strong in both good and poor economic times. In addition to providing Quality CNC and Automatic Screw Machine Products, BT Crellin Machine Company has recently begun assembly and sub-assembly work for customers in the pump and valve industry. Quality, on time delivery, reasonable prices, and customer service are what has allowed BT Crellin Machine Company to continue to grow for over 100 years.
